A 2015 comedy series from STARZ.
In memoriam: Sir Patrick Stewart, who starred as Walter Blunt, died on 28 October 2026, aged 86. Read our tribute to his career.
Patrick Stewart stars as Walter Blunt, a British cable news anchor in Los Angeles whose talk show is falling apart along with his personal life. Created by the novelist Jonathan Ames, with Seth MacFarlane among the executive producers, the comedy gives Stewart some of the broadest material of his career: Blunt drinks, misbehaves and gets arrested, then delivers grand speeches about integrity. Adrian Scarborough plays his loyal manservant Harry, who has looked after him since their army days. The series ran for two seasons on Starz, in 2015 and 2016, and leaned on the comic side Stewart had already shown in Ricky Gervais’s Extras.
