These terms apply to your use of The Remote (dontlosetheremote.com), published by Loveseyland Ltd., Toronto, Canada. By using the site you agree to them.

What this site is

The Remote is journalism and a viewing guide. It is published for information and entertainment. It is not advice, and the fact that we list, pick or review a title is not a promise about its availability, price, rating or content where you live.

Listings

Schedule data in The Guide comes from TVmaze, a community-maintained database, and from the platforms themselves. Schedules change, often at short notice. We do our best to keep listings current but we cannot guarantee that every time, channel or episode is accurate. Check with the broadcaster or platform before you plan an evening around it.

Third-party platforms

Streaming services, broadcasters and cinemas are their own businesses. Their prices, catalogues, regions, terms and apps belong to them and change without notice to us. Where we quote a price or a release date, it is what the platform said at the time of writing. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites we link to.

Intellectual property

Articles, our summaries, illustrations and graphics are owned by Loveseyland Ltd. unless credited otherwise. You may quote briefly with a link back to the story. Republishing a story in full, or using our data or summaries at scale, requires written permission from theremote@loveseyland.com.

Production stills, posters and press photography are the property of the studios, networks, streamers and photographers credited. We use them for editorial purposes, to illustrate coverage of the work they depict, with credit as supplied. They are not ours to license and may not be reused from this site. Rights holders who want an image removed can ask through our Corrections and sourcing page.

Submissions

Readers, makers and publicists may submit shows, films and projects for inclusion in The Rerun, The Guide or our coverage. By submitting, you confirm that you have the right to share the material you send, including any images, and you grant The Remote permission to publish it with credit. Submissions are reviewed by editors. We do not guarantee that anything will run, and we do not accept payment in exchange for coverage.

Comments

The Remote does not host reader comments. If you want to tell us something, write to the desk.

Advertising

Ads on the site, when present, are served by Google and are separate from editorial. Advertisers have no influence over what we cover or what we say.

Your Queue and tools

The Queue, your region setting and Ask the Remote are provided as they are, for your convenience. Your Queue lives in your browser and we cannot restore it if it is lost.

Changes and availability

We may change, move or remove content at any time, and we may change these terms. The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Loveseyland Ltd. is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything in it, including listings, prices and availability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of Ontario.
