Our take
Disney's first fully computer-animated film from its own studio, about a young chicken mocked for warning that the sky was falling, who has to save his town when aliens really do arrive.
Why watch A fast, bright family comedy that marked Disney's own move into computer animation, with plenty of jokes for adults and a big alien invasion finale. It is an easy watch for younger viewers and a footnote in the studio's history.

Patrick Stewart in Chicken Little
Patrick Stewart voices Mr. Woolensworth, the sheep who teaches Chicken Little’s class, in a small comic role. The film, directed by Mark Dindal and released in 2005, starred Zach Braff as Chicken Little and Joan Cusack as his friend Abby Mallard, and it was one of several family animations Stewart voiced in the 2000s, alongside Bambi II and TMNT.
