Percy, Grover and a few new demigods are back on Friday 20 November, when Percy Jackson and the Olympians returns for season three with a two-episode premiere. Disney+ title pages in Canada, the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand all carry the same banner: “Season 3 Coming to Disney+.” In the US, Disney’s November listings put the premiere on both Disney+ and Hulu.

The new season adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s series, and Disney says this is the first time that book has come to the screen. Here is where to watch it in each market, how the release is rolling out, and how to get through the first 16 episodes before it starts.
Where to watch season 3 in each market
- Canada: Disney+. The Canadian title page lists season three for 20 November 2026.
- United States: Disney+ and Hulu. Disney’s “Next on Disney+ and Hulu” listing for November names both services for the two-episode premiere on Friday 20 November.
- United Kingdom: Disney+. Disney’s UK press office confirmed the 20 November date after San Diego Comic-Con, and the UK title page carries it.
- Australia: Disney+. The Australian title page reads “Season 3 Coming to Disney+ 20 November 2026.”
- New Zealand: Disney+. The New Zealand title page shows the same date.
Disney has not published a release time on its title pages. Disney+ title pages also note that “Content and platform availability may vary by region,” so check the app in your market on the day.

The release schedule
Disney’s November listings give two firm dates so far:
- Friday 20 November: two-episode premiere on Disney+ and Hulu
- Friday 27 November: new episodes on Disney+ and Hulu
Disney has not yet published the full episode count or finale date for season three on its press site or title pages. The official podcast also returns: Disney lists Percy Jackson and the Olympians Official Podcast season three for 20 November, with a new episode on 27 November.
What season three is about
The Disney+ title page sets up the season: Percy must rescue Annabeth after Kronos’s forces capture her, free a goddess, deal with a Titan’s curse and keep Olympus from falling, with Grover and some unlikely companions along for the quest. Disney’s D23 release adds that “The stakes are higher than ever before as Percy is faced with the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and the impending Great Prophecy provided by the Oracle of Delphi, dictating the fate of Olympus.” The same release calls it “a season that isn’t just larger in scale, but darker, riskier, and charged with consequences too big to ignore.”
The cast, per Disney’s San Diego Comic-Con release:
- Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson
- Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase
- Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood
- Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan
- Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace
- Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo
- Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo
Disney’s D23 release names Ming-Na Wen as Hera and Andra Day as Athena among the guest stars. Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg created the series, and Steinberg, Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein are among its executive producers.
Catching up on seasons one and two
Both earlier seasons are on Disney+ in all five markets, with eight episodes each. Disney’s January release said season two was available to binge on Disney+ and Hulu in the US.
Season one premiered on 20 December 2023 with two episodes, followed by weekly episodes, according to Disney. It follows a 12-year-old demigod accused by Zeus of stealing his master lightning bolt. With Annabeth and Grover, Percy crosses the US to return it and stop a war among the gods. Episode titles run from “I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher” to “The Prophecy Comes True.”
Season two adapted The Sea of Monsters and premiered on 10 December 2025 with two episodes, then went weekly on Wednesdays. Disney’s synopsis begins: “After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters.” Daniel Diemer joined the main cast as Tyson, per Disney’s media kit. The finale streamed on 21 January 2026, and Disney ran a first look at season three midway through its credits.
How long it takes: 16 episodes across two seasons, which works out to roughly one season a week in the two and a half weeks before 20 November. If time is short, prioritize season two: Disney’s January release noted that its finale ends on a cliffhanger, and Disney says season three finds Percy facing the sudden disappearance of Annabeth.
