Anton Yelchin was an American actor, born in the Soviet Union, who began as a child actor leading Hearts in Atlantis and joining the Showtime series Huff. In 2009 he played Pavel Chekov in the Star Trek reboot, a role he reprised in two sequels, and Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation. He often worked in independent films, headlining Like Crazy, Odd Thomas and Green Room.
