Career
Ritchson’s early career mixed comedy and comic books: guest turns as the first live-action Aquaman on Smallville, the boorish Thad on Spike’s Blue Mountain State (2010 to 2011), the tribute Gloss in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) and the motion-capture Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its 2016 sequel. Reacher, adapted from Lee Child’s novels, made him a leading man, and film work followed: Agent Aimes in Fast X (2023), the faith drama Ordinary Angels and Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (both 2024). In Patrick Hughes’s War Machine, released on Netflix in 2026, he plays an Army Ranger candidate whose training exercise collides with an alien killing machine.
