Brian Thompson, born on 28 August 1959 in Ellensburg, Washington, is an American actor whose height and heavy features have made him one of the more recognizable heavies in 1980s and 1990s genre film and television. He began with a bit part as a punk in The Terminator, then played the Night Slasher opposite Sylvester Stallone in Cobra. On television he became the shape-shifting Alien Bounty Hunter of The X-Files and turned up across the Star Trek franchise, while film work took in Dragonheart and Mortal Kombat Annihilation.
Brian Thompson appears in 5 films in The Rerun, from 1984 to 1996. Most of that work is in action, thriller and adventure.

Career
After The Terminator (1984), Cobra (1986) gave him a leading villain, and his first named role came on Werewolf, from Fox’s first season. Star Trek gave him a recurring home: the Klingon Klag in The Next Generation, appearances in Deep Space Nine and Star Trek Generations (1994), and the Romulan Admiral Valdore in Enterprise.
He played the Alien Bounty Hunter on The X-Files, and Luke and the Judge on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In film he was Brok, the enforcer for King Einon, in Dragonheart (1996) and the warlord Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat Annihilation (1997). In 2014 he wrote, produced and starred in The Extendables, a send-up of the action films that made him.
